An Innovation Award for the SGT dairy preform
SGT receives the 2016 Innovation Award for its dairy preform
The All4Pack 2016 Expert Committee rewarded the SGT company for its dairy preform. Société Générale des Techniques has developed a monolayer preform with the same qualities as a multilayer. The innovation lies in the formulation of the resin which gives PET new properties including a total barrier to light. Opaque, hermetic and therefore UV-resistant, the preform is now suitable for the conditioning of photosensitive liquids such as milk. Recyclable, this preform does not require any particular technology for blowing.
